Meeting Rooms

The Hall Memorial Library provides meeting space for use by the Ellington community as part of its mission to foster and support community engagement.  Ellington community groups, organizations and residents, and groups with Ellington residents as members may use the meeting rooms, following the meeting room use guidelines.

Many groups use the library spaces for meetings each day.  In order to assure equal access for all, the meeting room guidelines have been adjusted.  New and strengthened items are:

  • All applicants must be Ellington residents.
  • A two room-uses-per-month limit has been set (whether on the same or different days).
  • A responsible representative must check in at the desk before occupying the room.
  • All meetings must end no later than 15 minutes before closing, and all participants must leave the building by closing time.

View the complete updated policy from the link below.
