A Library Card

All Ellington residents can get a free Hall Memorial Library Card by coming to the library and filling out a registration card and providing a photo ID (e.g. driver license) with current address or an ID and proof of current residence in Ellington (a current bill, etc. mailed to your address). Children can get their card upon turning 5 years old.  A parent or guardian must sign for children under 14.  Cards are renewed every three years.

Part-time residents or those who live out-of-state but work in Ellington may receive a one-year limited-use card by presenting ID and proof of the current Ellington residence or proof of employment with an Ellington employer.

There is a $3 charge to replace a lost, unexpired library card.
